Yes bro!

“Yes bro!" I hear called out by Danny when he sees Rhys hitting a perfect 12 o’clock one handed wheelie with his left hand dragging on the concrete behind him as he glides forwards.

This series of photographs is the result of a few weeks of 2017 spent with some of the boys of the #cardiffbikelife scene. Photographed on an old and clunky medium format film camera, the project tries to slow down the naturally fast-paced happenings of a group riding around a city on bikes; pulling wheelies, flowing through traffic, jumping down stairs etc. In order to focus on the quieter and softer moments that can be found in this group of people who’ve bonded over the simple pleasure of aimlessly riding a bike around with your mates.
